This is a large paper artwork by #Artist Fu Xiaotong
It is made up of holes in #HandmadePaper. Each hole is counted and written on the artwork (usually hundreds of thousands)
We framed it in a super narrow walnut #frame, float mounted on white mount board.

The #frame is just a standard matt black frame. The real star of this is the three aperture window mount. The packs are encased in protective plastic cases and it was surprisingly difficult to get them aligned.

Not our usual kind of #framing. A custom frame for #OriginalVideoGameArt
A traditional style was required for this #FantasyIllustration. The client wanted a copper colour to go with the tiger.
We had a copper coloured sample made from one of our suppliers but the client preferred a more hand finished look. The chosen frame has both gold and copper leaf, toned to look aged.

A while ago we framed some small #photographs in these narrow ash frames, with the photos suspended between anti-reflective acrylic.
The fixings for hanging were attached to the acrylic behind the #artwork so the looked like they were floating.

This is an artwork we framed for #OriginalVideoGameArt who can be found on Instagram.
It's an illustration of #SonicTheHedgehog for a magazine advert. Being a large #artwork the client chose no mount and the strong yellow meant a white frame was a good choice.

This is a large paper scroll on Chinese paper by a #RoyalCollegeOfArt #artist.
It's in a carbon finished fabricated aluminium frame. The mounting might not look like anything special but this was very tricky to mount.
Not only is the scroll too long for any mount cutter (in the UK at least) being over 2m, but being landscape means gravity is not on your side, as it would be if portrait.
Ideally this would be displayed flat in a glass case but few people have the room.
