Last night I finished Pillars of Eternity after a bit of a slog. I found the combat very repetitive and stopped playing a few times. But the ending was great and Im looking forward to its sequel, Deadfire.

Besides the combat being monotonous, I found the narrative design to be exceptional and characters to be interesting and well developed.

The graphics, music, and sfx were all good considering when the game came out.

Overall - 6.9/10

2022 in Gaming:

- Finished a #Skyrim playthrough (my third ever and first on PC)

- Started local couch co-op of #StardewValley with my partner

- Played Through #EldenRing twice

- Was gifted #Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and did the entire playthrough on #SteamDeck

- Spent November internet quota & game time downloading #MicrosoftFlightSimulator 's update

- Started #PillarsOfEternity on Steamdeck and desktop (cloud saves are super nice)

I fell in love with video games from watching my older brother play #Metroid, then made friends who introduced me to #FinalFantasy, and played #WoW from beta through Wrath and have been on and (mostly) off it since.

I'm now exclusively a PC gamer, currently playing #PillarsOfEternity, though I do have a #SteamDeck.

I also play Microsoft Flight Simulator to compliment IRL flying.

#PillarsOfEternity auf dem #SteamDeck macht echt Spaß! Der Text ist ein bisschen klein, aber immer noch lesbar. Die Steuerung musste ich auch ein bisschen abändern, damit man den Text scrollen kann (der linke Touchpad ist normalerweise ein zweites D-Pad). Ansonsten ist aber alles top! 9/10

I first completed #BloodStained Ritual of the Night on my #SteamDeck and just started #PillarsOfEternity this week.
