Writing this from the #tuba #Mastodon app on my #PinePhone ! Suprisingly full featured! The new wave of gtk4 and libadwaita apps looks so nice and is so full featured. Kind of makes me want to write a pixelfed app, if I had the skills.

Also, what camera configuration produces the best pictures on #pinephone ? Megapixels is still pretty dark for me

Does anyone use their #pinephone with their keyboard? What does that workflow look like? I can think of some cool things to do with it, but the shame of whipping it out outside makes me not even attempt it.

Anybody on #Pinephone or #Linux know how to tell which program is eating my battery? I'm losing like a consistent 2% a min. htop seems to think that at any given point my CPU usage is ~20-50% across 4 CPUs, but usually the top process is only reported using 5% CPU... I can't tell what's really going on with that info honestly... Any help appreciated! Just trying to figure out what might be hogging CPU in idle

@hamblingreen no problem! Pywal is a great tool to use because that ~/.cache/wal folder it generates will contain many preconfigured color schemes already. From there you can also make scripts that interpret the wal cache into newer schemes. BTW do you have any other recommended terminal apps for the Fediverse? As a fellow #pinephone enthusiast its a bit cumbersome sometimes using websites for Fediverse activity on the poor phone's hardware

Anybody know how to get GPS working on the #Pinephone ? Running #SXMO from #PostmarketOS using #mepo , but honestly in over my head and don't know where to start with trying to get accurate location data...

It's certainly cool to be able to program whatever I'd like for my phone! I ain't good at it and it's not often I get time but the #Pinephone is definitely fun to use and think of ways to improve things and then try

Another thing I forgot to mention regarding #LinuxMobile cameras: #kde s Kamoso also supports rotations for a while now. The image is taken with the #Flatpak version. It thus joins an increasing number of mobile-camera-ready apps like Snapshot, Authenticator, Decoder, and (once the next release happens) @dino

Rotation support is required to display the image correctly on devices like the #PinePhonePro, #PinePhone or - hopefully soon - #Librem5

used the du command in a terminal to narrow down the location of excessive data
var cache #pacman had a lot.
used #paccache to remove half:
