- It charges slowly. Slowly enough that it's been a PITA. Slowly enough that I plugged it into my workbench #PinePower to measure exactly how slowly: 5V / 1.8A (9W). Which makes the 20W wall wart that came with it a little funny.

- I'm not sure I've ever gotten it up to 100%, but I'm frustrated with the battery life. Charge it for a few hours in the morning, leave it idle on the table all day, it's dead when I get home in the evening.

I can't be the only one with quite a lot of SBCs, often USB powered ... Do you use something simple like these to power them or is the current draw and potential voltage drop from having for attached at once just too risky in terms of outages? I've got mine mostly on separate PSUs but it feels like a real waste of sockets ...

Should I get a @PINE64 #PinePower unit (are the mains leads for those the same as e.g. the Lenovo ones - they look very similar) or something else?

@Idcrafter I've been considering picking up a pair of these and the #PineTab2 when it comes out.

i just placed my second-ever order from the @PINE64 store, including a #rock64 and needed power supply and casing, a new #ppkb as mine has unfortunately stopped working long past its warranty period, a #pinedio pinephone add-on case, and a #pinepower desktop power supply. can't wait to recieve and start tinkering with my new toys!

waited a long time for availability to get another #PinePower so I can have one at both battlestations. the newer one has some nice upgrades. the much more solid and secure power plug at the back, and I don't think I'm seeing things, the display is more vivid and bright.

sometimes it's the little things that keep you ticking.
