@johnlogic Yeah that's them. I really do think the SRA is trying to do something very important, but as a leftist participating in a Leftist organizations, I have criticisms.

I think they need to make more information public or published that's hidden in the forums and be more open to training none members.

I know #PinkPistols and #Armyourfriends did a really good job at promoting that. And that the SRA pushes a little too hard into OPSEC that prevents outside participation

Looking for my local chapter in Central Virginia. Or #PinkPistols.
About an hour from either Lynchburg or Richmond.

#Defense and #CommunityDefense are also absolutely crucial right now. The growing threat of fascist violence cannot be underestimated.

This one will vary based on region, but many #SocialistRifleAssociation chapters are great. While not an organization that does many actions itself, it's a great way to network, and I guarantee its members are active, if not under the #SRA banner.

Other potential groups are things like the #JohnBrownGunClub, or #PinkPistols could be an option depending on the chapter. I don't know a ton about these individually, so I'd always encourage looking into your local area.

I'd also coordinate with your community and friends to ensure you can protect each other in emergencies. Community solidarity goes a long way.

I know-bc Orlando-this is unpopular: gun reform is absent in the USA and will be for a long time. We LGBT+ need to empower ourselves to have safe legal self protection from guns with guns. If murderers know gays have guns, they wont dare. they know gays dont like guns. they need to know some of us do. HRC spends money to reduce access, they dont speak for all. some of us are not good targets. i dont like guns except when im looking down the barrel of one. #PinkPistols
