The fam in the Land of the Rising Sun teased me what they're having right now, and it made want to find one, plus a tall glass of cold beer.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing like that in my neighborhood.
I sent them what I had for the afternoon snack. The color and texture reminds me of puto bumbong, but inside it's full of bucayo (strips of coconut meat in syrup -- thankfully, not sweet. #Pinoys are notorious for their sweet tooth.) Then, topped with cream cheese. :mastogrin:

It's an infamous line from a 2015 flick in the #Philippines , about Antonio Luna, allegedly uttered by Aguinaldo's mother.
Actually, #Pinoys love to quote that movie a lot, and #puñeta (#punyeta) probably tops it all. 💢
Young people would've forgotten it's a #Filipino cuss word, until the movie made it popular again.
