This one is hard. Decades ago, #Paizo and #WotC books set my standards for how should interior book art look like.

However, #OSR books blew up my expectations about the quality of art, readability and layout.

#OldSchoolEssentials has amazing, compact, and practical layout. #Mothership even more so. #PirateBorg looks like a graphic novel based off a video game. #FrontierScum mimics the style of old-timey newspaper. They're amazing.

17) FUNNIEST Game you’ve played

This would probably be Paranoia, though it’s been ages. I’d love to try #MörkBorg, #CyBorg and #PirateBorg.

The most consistently funny games are just regular sessions in RPGs. I appreciate the situational comedy and irony that sometimes arises during gaming and my dry sense of humor delights in this.

Habe mir eben aufgrund einer Empfehlung von @HeyeBodo das #WeirdOnTheWaves-Setting & Toolkit mal in Ruhe angesehen und bin ein klein bisschen verliebt. Sowas habe ich mir für den #D20-Bereich schon lange gewünscht. Zusammen mit der letzten #Slay! und dem #DarkCaribbean-Setting, das der Hintergrund für #PirateBorg ist, hätte ich damit eigentlich alles für #DieVerboteneSee zusammen, was ich brauche, denke ich. Muss nächste Woche nur noch alles in einen großen Topf werfen und gut umrühren. 🏴‍☠️

Teil 1: #Earthdawn
Hab damals nur einmal in einer ED-Runde mitgespielt, aber mich sofort in die Welt verliebt. Hab dann die Bücher gesammelt, da sich keine Gelegenheit mehr zum Spielen ergab. Inzwischen haben die Bände ein neues Zuhause gefunden.

Teil 2: #PirateBorg
Auf meiner suche nach Piraten-RPGs das erste, auf das meine Aufmerksamkeit gelenkt wurde. Finde die Aufmachung großartig. Habs aber immer noch nicht gespielt.

Ensimmäisenä #Ropecon pöytäropemuistelona olkoon #PirateBorg.

Kiitokset Korallikaupungin parhaalle miehistölle, Brutus, Vuohi-Karl ja Stebe, Sätkä nautti epäkatastrofimme paimentamisesta vaikkei sitä ehkä päälle näkynyt! Laivamme on vielä siellä jossain eikä majakan verikellarin salaisuuksiin ehditty perehtyä, mutta sentään saimme selville hyviä tapoja ansaita rahaa.

Ai minkä tavan? Alkoholilla oli osuutensa asiaan, mutta ilmeisesti ryyppyreissu tuottaa moninkertaisen voiton…

Sillä tavalla tässä #Ropecon:ssa, puolet arvoista maaliin mutta Vetehisten Virsi jäi tänäkin vuonna. Taidan ensi vuonna itse vetää Lamentationsia että kanssapelaajilla olisi mahdollisuus tutustua järjestelmään, mutta pitää silti koittaa josko silloin tuuri kävisi!

Jakelen langassa vielä vähän lisää peleistä, tähän viestiin kun ei mahdu 😄

OMG! In my home in person game (in which I GMd for years in #5E and then in #Cy_Borg for the last year) a second player has decided to take a crack at GMing #PirateBorg for all of us.

We are moving into the blissful territory of having lots of GMs sharing the load! I’ve generally been happy being forever GM, but find it really invigorating to be able to not ALWAYS be the GM...

Any tips on managing a multi GM group from anyone lucky enough to have found that? (It’s a first for me.)

@tiberianpun I also mostly GM, but I’ve been lucky to find several games and my home group #Cy_Borg players have been taking turns GMing #pirateborg, which has been nice! I haven’t heard of dragon bane (will check that out!) and definitely want to play Ironsworn!

It is interesting that the guys in my gaming group had never heard the term #ttrpg this last weekend. We played #5e for years, then I lured them to #Cy_Borg, and now one of them is GMing #PirateBorg.

Being so tuned into the community online, I forget that many players of TTRPGs don’t really think about the genre beyond another type of game like a board game!

I am thankful for the minds who do deep dive into the TTRPG sphere and communicate about it!
