Weekend mini project: a jig for configuring #PixelBlaze Picos, and another for testing Fibonacci64 Micro HDRs (used in Lux Lavalier).
I used perma-proto quarter-sized breadboard PCBs from @adafruit, M2 standoffs, pogo pins and receptacles. The clothespin is temporary until I mount these on a board and get some proper small toggle clamps.

Fibonacci512 is a giant, beautiful, sound-reactive 320mm (12.6") disc with 512 WS2812B addressable RGB LEDs surface mounted in a Fibonacci distribution.
Driven with a #Pixelblaze by @wizard, patterns can be written, tweaked, arranged into playlists, etc all via the web UI over WiFi.
I have one in stock now, should have another this weekend.

@ratkins I already have all the LED XY coordinates from the PCB layout. So it's just a matter of getting them in the right order. They're numbered on the PCB in Fibonacci (logical) order (center outward). I map from logical order to the order they're routed physically on the PCB. I then use my LED Mapper tool to convert them to #Pixelblaze format: jasoncoon.github.io/led-mapper

#RGB magic provided via a #Pixelblaze Pico by @wizard mounted on the back. Magnetic battery holder by @geekmomprojects makes it into a necklace.
Still need to work on the pixel map, diffuser, and back cover.
Rewrite of the pixel stack for #pixelblaze All 16 bit per element throughout. Tons more HDR LED options now, and have NS108 and WS2816 LEDs support. Here's a 2" x 2" ws2816 panel at 1% brightness, for example.
Just ordered a new prototype PCB from @oshpark!
This one is a heart-shaped 40mm Fibonacci with 74 HDR SK9822 2mm² addressable RGB LEDs. On the back is a footprint for a #Pixelblaze Pico from @benhencke, and pads for a necklace battery holder from @geekmomprojects.
I cannot wait to assemble and test this one. I will, of course, post pics & video when I do.
I'm super happy I started tinkering with the #LinuxCNC Python API. It allows for basically unhindered addons, without modification to the core. Now my dust collector is automatic when the spindle starts/stops and I've got a #PixelBlaze reporting job progress!
Since the Fibonacci256 HDR and #LuxLavalier both use #PixelBlaze controllers, the exact same pattern code and tutorials work for both!

Here's another track (Behind The Sun by Odesza) and another way to map the #PixelBlaze Sensor Board audio data to a Fibonacci256 HDR LED board. This one has a background rainbow, the Y axis flipped, and the X axis mirrored so that low frequencies are at the bottom and vice-versa.
Have I mentioned the fact that all of these changes can be made on the fly in the web app via wi-fi?!
