@anandamide I keep opening #pixelfeed then closing it, because my brain just doesn't seem to have the bandwidth to figure it out at the moment.

You can follow and interact with the local timeline of any server in some apps, like #Toot for #iOS or #Fedilab for #Android.

In Fedilab, click MANAGE TIMELINES on the left, click the + sign in the upper right corner and type in an instance. You can even add #Peertube or #Pixelfeed and other #Fediverse instances!

You can like, boost and bookmark!

Now you do not have to pick one server if you have varied interests!

This is not available on the web version, unfortunately.

@PeterMotte they have different focus. Some are similar to Twitter (#Mastodon, #Misskey), Instagram (#Pixelfeed), YouTube (#peertube) or Facebook (#Friendica) and more. Full list see link. You can even make every user in your #Wordpress installation part of the #Fediverse by just installing the Plugin #activitypub. Everyone can follow and comment everyone and the messages flow seamless between the instances. Something the commercial platforms can't.

@textcontainer entweder über #Pixelfeed und man verlinkt es oder zb bei #Tusky in der App auf die Büroklammen drücken und Bild auswählen.

@lunire hi Lukas, herzlich willkommen im #fediverse. Für deine Fotos gute bitte #pixelfeed, die Bilder kannst du dann mit Mastodon & Co direkt teilen.

Habe eben mal wieder in meinen Vogel ACC geschaut und bin da einer Gruppe hinzugefügt worden. Natürlich gleich wieder ausgetreten, der ACC drüber besteht auch nur noch um von hier gefüllt zu werden. Wer alle meine Posts u.a. die Bilder / Fotos von #Pixelfeed sehen möchte, oder beim ACC @DasAbenteuer mitspielen will muss hslt ins #Fediverse kommen. Das gleiche gilt auch für #Facebook wo ich nur noch die lokalen Gruppen betreue.

@porreeundlauch Du könntest den Beitrag deines #Pixelfeed -Accounts dann einfach mit deinem #Mastodon -Account boosten. So sehen das dann auch die Leute die dir nicht oder noch nicht folgen. So mache ich es mit meinen Blog-Beiträgen bei #writefreely. :rm_thumbsup:
