I certainly don’t have time to build a new activitypub server into a virtual file system or whatever the native feeling impl would look like.

@breadbin @lorddimwit Well, but there are now new generation of #Smalltalk (Squeak) and #Lisp (zillion of them), but there is no good reimplementation of #Plan9 with the current technologies (Wayland, TTF fonts, better design of window manager … something #sway -like?), and there are no better editors for Plan9 than #ACME (https://youtu.be/dP1xVpMPn8M).

@nixCraft My true favorite is using the #plan9 plumber to pipe into an existing #acme session. I use whatever is closest on the existing system.

#illumos remains true, and like anything truly pure, no one wants any.
And surely no one would touch SCO /Xinuos #UnixWare or #OpenServer without lawyers present…
