Your wife can #follow @plants and mention it everytime she posts about #plants. If I remember correctly, that'll allow posts to be seen by others following that account. So in a way, they're like a Mastodon #plant group. Hashtags are useful too for letting others find her posts.

So the last couple of days it rained a bit. And i thought: Oh goody! The #cereza will be happy.

I keep forgetting to water it. 😁

This afternoon it was looking gloomy outside again, and i thought maybe i shouldn't leave my new supposedly-hard-to-kill #sansevieria #plant outside anymore. Brought it indoors. Only then did I see the tips have already gone brown. ☹️ I've only had it for a week.

The way my #plants are surviving I don't think I'll ever get a #dog. 🙄

Nah. I have* been searching for #plants for months. Just couldn't make up my mind.

Today felt like a good day for plant shopping and this hardworking guy deserved a sale.

I normally don't photograph strangers but he seems the photo-ready type and I wanted to remember who i got my plant from -- he kept saying he'll guarantee* and replace the plant if it died. If ever it dies, I won't claim that, of course. 🤓 #YellowThumbs #sansevieria #SnakePlant

Ah, I'm reminded how i used to drive around with my li'l #JadePlant ❤️ sitting in a cupholder attached to the aircon vent of the car -- so it could get more sun.

Perhaps I can do that with #LilBlue 🚲 🤔 hmm...

To those who don't know,
long story short:
the jade plant died.

Not because of joyrides. 🚗
Root rot. 💀

I'm thinking of giving my new #plant a mild mixture of epsom salt and baking soda in water. Just a pinch. No ammonia. It's some kind of home-made #fertilizer recipe.

Also thinking of using a tea* recipe -- egg shells and used tea bags in water -- to water my new plant.

I haven't gone crazy, okay? A plant #app (that failed to identify my plant) saw the yellow leaves and suggested that it needs nutrients. 🙃 We can blame the app later.

There was no one attending the plant display at the supermarket so I had no one to ask. 🤷‍♀️

Anywayz, just saw a small print on the barcode sticker. It says "cereza". Tried searching and I'm getting results for cherries and pepper. I'm gonna guess it's some kind of #cherry. I'll also guess that the info I found on something with similar leaves 🌿 applies to my new little plant -- full sun. ☀️

I just bought this #plant and I have no idea what it is. It just looks cute. No idea if it wants full sun or indoors. I'm guessing outdoors with a good amount of sun. 🤔 I better look it up before I do anything that kills it. 😅 #YellowThumbs

I took a new #GoldenPothos cutting and put it in a repurposed medicine bottle. The bottle is full of water and jelly beads. A disposable beverage lid keeps it centered and upright in the wide-mouthed bottle. I put tissue around the stem to cover the opening and prevent anything from getting in the water.

My new place is still bare. Can't move in yet. This #plant gets to be the first occupant. 🙃 Planning on getting some ant-repelling #plants too.
