I've done a bit more work on Bahariya Formation fossil #plants. This is an infographic showing the possible distributions of different plants and their rough sizes and life habits. These are based on both macro and microfossils. #paleobotany #paleoart #paleontology #Spinosaurus #PlantBlindness
This was made as test-run reference guide for paleoartists, so if you have feedback on this style/how well it conveys information/ clarity/usefulness etc, I'd greatly appreciate any comments you may have!

Peut-on parler d'intelligence des plantes ? Cette conférence de Quentin Hiernaux est remarquable de clarté et de pédagogie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1wVvaZb0v8 #PlantBlindness #PlantHumanities

#Museum30 - Day 6. 'Hidden'
Much in contrast to rocks, minerals, and animals, #plants are often not part of exhibitions in #NaturalHistory #museums. This is mainly because some people believe that plants are not very interesting, and there is indeed an issue with #PlantBlindness.
It means plants are often considered 'background' and boring (quite the opposite!). But there's also a practical issue with showing plants: they bleach out due to the light. It also causes DNA to degrade.
