Peak bluebell in Oxfordshire UK

A friend brought me this bizarre plant from Estonia. It doesn't need soil and has to be lightly sprayed with water once a day. It's usually greyish white but turns ivory white when watered. Been growing at an incredible rate, just hanging there from a window in sunlight. Does anyone here know more about this? I'm the sysadmin & moderator of ausglam.space, a #librarian from Naarm/Melbourne, co-founded :newCardigan: newCardigan, created @ephemetoot (for periodically deleting your old toots) and @blogs (for sharing your GLAM blog with the world).
