🎤 I shall do my re-introduction now that the earthquakes have quieted down on the Commons.

Hello, I'm Anita. I graduated with a PhD in Postcolonial Literature from the University of Queensland in 2012. Currently a senior lecturer at the National University of Malaysia. I started as a postcolonial Gothic scholar. Very much entrenched in phenomenological traditions and everything spatio-temporal along w/ Memory Studies. That's guided a lot of my recent research but I've also been working with contexts in relation to the and the . Theoretically I've published so far 3 poco articles related to Derridean hauntology.

Corpus: I work mostly with contemporary postcolonial Gothic women's fiction, SFF and retold fairytales in exploring all of the above. I'm the editor of Truancy (on indefinite hiatus), a venue of retold folktales and fairytales, and run a yearly Fairytale Salon Seminar Series.

Oh, I also enjoy designing courses.

Hello, thanks for letting me into this instance! I am a literary academic working on Memory, Hauntology, Capitolocene/Plantationocene criticism and the Postcolonial Gothic, amongst other intersecting research concerns which are almost always linked to spatio-temporal contexts.
