Returning to the reduction of plastic theme, I had to order dishwasher pods today. For about three years now, we’ve used a #PlasticFree alternative from Dropps, which arrives in a cute double box. The soap works well in our semi-hard water, but about 3 times a year I do add rinse aid and clean out the inside with vinegar and/or bleach, all of which do come to our house in plastic containers. I also dig out the filter and scrub it out to remove gross stuff. 🤢

We've been plastic free since we started 10 years ago - we even used to sew our own hessian bags!

We was plastic free years before the "first plastic free coffee" who even tried to sell to us a couple of times. We ignored them until I eventually put them right which stopped their sales calls.
