I'll mostly talk about software dev and ops. Since 2016 my focus has been on containers and cloud. Before that I was a "plain" SWE for many years.
My current interests are #k8s, #GitOps, #PlatformEngineering, #o11y, #IaC plus a secret weakness for #infosec.

I love C# #dotnet. I can tolerate #Javascript. I'm interested in #golang. I'm into #observability and #reliability. I'm really into the #SocioTechnical nature of the systems we build.

Tours of duty through tertiary education, #telecom, #ISP, #healthcare & #financial sectors.

Built a ton of ISP & #platform infrastructure in Canada from the NSFNet days onwards. ONet, CA*Net, fonorola, iStar, Rogers.

Spent a while as a #cable industry/telecom #consultant.

Last decade I have been focused on #security & #compliance automation platforms notably in #PlatformEngineering

Vacation side project placeholder code is done for this 0.0.1a release. Now just need to write broken tests, document all the intent; write an inviting contribution guide and a handful of starter GitHub issues… then will call it a successful vaporware start!
