This reminds me: it's still sadly difficult to share links to a #podcastepisode without having to promote one exclusive #podcatcher platform over another. When I share from #pocketcasts, the link mostly promotes the app, not the content I'm sharing.

I currently use Castbox, because it syncs to android and IOS devices, and (clumsily) to Windows/web. It does all the right things, like download for when you are offline. My O2 company phone is offline most of the time!

But it doesn't have any voting or feedback to the authors.

Any more modern recommendations?

I'm using #whisper (and #WhisperCPP by ggerganov at GitHub) from #openai to #transcribe my #podcasts so I can search them. I wish my #podcatcher @overcastfm would use something like this. Searching podcasts is something I do all the time and the search mechanism on all podcatchers always stinks, cos they're not full-text!

So, I download them to my computer, run #whisper, #search those text files, and voila! I've got a full-text-search!

Update: ich bin jetzt der Meinung, dass das, was ich aktuell mache ganz ok und komfortabel ist:

1.Ich lade mir die #mp3.s einfach per Browser runter.
2. Ich hab den Download-Ordner in meinem #Podcatcher aufgenommen. (# Antennapod , “Lokalen Ordner hinzufügen“.).
