First impressions of the #Polestar 2: not as radical as I expected. One-pedal driving takes some adaptation, but is intuitive within an hour or so.
Exterior looks sharp and modern, makes a #tesla look like a US-market Nissan from the 1990s.
Interior: not so good. Some plastic trim came off one of the air vents in my hand (car has just 4,000 miles). Like many modern cars, the touchscreen isn’t good. Too many vital functions now require you to take eyes off the road to see, rather than feel.

I used to be a fan, was about to buy a #Tesla too. Scrapped that plan and now looking at the #Volvo / #Polestar offerings. I have also put off subscribing to #Starlink for our RV, and will find a new company to do a whole-house-battery system too instead of a #Powerwall. I don’t want my money or attention making #Elon any richer. Things are better here.
