Drug policy in this country simply isn't working. Criminalising drug possession fuels the illicit market & makes people even less safe. Let's at least *review* 50-year-old Misuse of Drugs Act & move towards effective, evidence-based policy to reduce harm.

I did enjoy Tim Stanley being open minded about UBI on #PoliticsLive today.

Difficult watch today though. Coburn didn’t couldn’t keep a lid on the Tory councillor’s constant interruptions. Deliberate tactic. Makes everyone look argumentative, even the conch-holder.

It's very 'interesting' that Rishi Sunak is seemingly now concerned by the 'threat' of deepfakes and misinformation, when he was a part of the #Tories that time when the party apparatus decided to create a fake 'fact checking' Twitter account, that was just CCHQ spin, during the 2019 General Election campaign.

Finished #WhyIsThisLyingBastardLyingToMe by Rob Burley and can’t recommend it enough. I feel bad about all those nasty tweets I used to send when he was responsible for #PoliticsLive etc! But that was in the bad old days of Twitter. Fascinating to find from the Afterword he was recently diagnosed with #Parkinsons - I was diagnosed in July 2022
