I doubt this will come as a surprise to anyone who uses #Metlink public transport services in #Wellington and #Porirua, but about a month ago, I noticed that, at 393 cancellations, there had been more cancellations in a single day than at any point in the past 18 months since I had started recording cancellations.

In the 3 1/2 weeks since then, the average number of cancellations for weekdays has been 398 cancellations per day.
