Now that I'm planning my migration out of Mullvad VPN, the browser might not be worth it anymore. The "hide in the crowd" effect is not going to be as effective with a different VPN and thus different dns server (both fingerprintable). Sad that Mullvad disabled the port forwarding, I needed it 😔 .

Among the other "overcomplicated bullshit" options, you could have a #daemon hanging around waiting for any prefix change to be announced, regenerate your firewall config and reload the firewall to account for the new prefix.

Does this sound like a reasonable setup? I think this is literally worse than #NAT + port-forwarding.

Of course the real fix for that is for ISPs to not be assholes, but I'm not feeling confident about that one happening any time soon.
