Good Morning Britain.

On this freezing cold winter, I'd hate to be standing outside. That doesn't seem to be a problem for the Postal Workers outside my local depot in Manchester. They've got the kettle on and even a bin fire going and they're in good spirits as cars go past blaring their horns in support.

Delay/error is tough.

As someone reliant on #mail for medicine & more ( #ChronicIllness / #disability ) I know.

Yet, issues are never *solely* due to a driver, sorter, &c.

If we choose to focus on 1 aspect, we miss the point.

Hyper-bureaucracy in #transportation of goods + unreasonable quotas = loss & confusion.

Much of what gets lost is #WorkersRights & #wellbeing ~ problems should be no surprise.

Remember #CauseAndEffect.

At this point in time, I think the Post Office have given up.

I think it’s now a game of brinkmanship.

Management -> How much warehouse space can they lease, and how much mail can they can stack up.

Vs

Union & workers -> how long can they manage on reduced wages.
