@archivist I do know that the effects of foundations on humanities work shows up in evaluations quite a bit... But even there, it's rarely explicitly addressed (in my experience). Going to be in the report for IMLS I'm working on, though!!

It's certainly in internal documents and conversations, too! (I can speak to both.) It just depends what is considered data and evidence.
