As a biologist who studied the link between the hormones involved in the #stress response and #behaviour (in #fish for 15 years, it is quite interesting to study myself as I am taking #Prednisone a human-made molecule that acts in the same pathway as cortisol, « the #stresshormone ». My changes in metabolism, behaviour and cognition are already very obvious, but I am not blind to treatment as an observer, and I have a sample size of 1. A taste of my own medicine :)

I'm taking #prednisone for SI joint pain, and it's making me feel jittery AF. 🤪
