@cambridgeport90 @obsolete29 Indeed in 2 out of 2 cases I was fucked over by admins pulling the plug on a Mastodon node w/out warning. The #privacyTools / #privacyGuides project is run by absolute rat bastards, probably pissed off at each other during their infighting feud & someone at some point decided “fuck all these users”. It’s a serious pitfall that #Mastodon has this #bug.

E.g. the #PrivacyTools & #PrivacyGuides projects are happy to sell out their values & subject their own supporters to abuses as perverse as that of Cloudflare & Paypal. The noble move is of course nix the highest hypocricies even if it means less income.
