Yo no sé cuando fue realmente, pero al poco me imagino, ya que pasé por la época de los Guitar Hero y necesitaba algún juego de ritmo nuevo y es cuando sin saber nada de Hatsune Miku me lo puse en mi PSP. Y mi primera impresión fue… rara. Al poco le volví a dar otra oportunidad y jugando desde entonces a casi todas las versiones.

Hacía mucho tiempo que no jugaba al Project Diva MegaMix. Me he puesto un rato y no estaba tan oxidado. Encima he conseguido otro Perfect, esta vez en la canción Hibikase.

Con la scusa del nuovo monitor sto (ri)scaricando una serie di videogiochi e tra questi non può mancare #HatsuneMiku: #ProjectDIVA Mega Mix+.

Ovviamente, la brillante idea di provarlo, arriva quando mi sono svegliato da tipo 15 minuti. Il risultato? Occhio e testa che gridano pietà 😂 Per la serie “scelte sagge e dove trovarle”.

Not that it or any of its derivations are bad games, but Jesus Christ! What do they think we are? Masochists?!

They think it's fine to repackage their arcade entry and sell it like a whole new thing with no regard for how harder it is compared to any home or portable entry in the series. It's just an awful business decision that will alienate newcomers to the series with its bone crunching, hair pulling, quarter munching levels of hard!

Come on, #SEGA! Yeah, the challenge will always be there like you say with your Master System ads, but you can't just keep the difficulty curve so high for new players!

Shame on you! 😡

Hot take: #VOCALOID is appealing to everyone, including 40+ year olds.

How come? Well, you see, one of the most popular kinds of VOCALOID material that exists to this day is the #ProjectDiva games. And the developers of those games could've chosen to include cover songs based on more recent #SEGA IPs like #SonicTheHedgehog, #Shinobi, #SuperMonkeyBall, #Yakuza, #PuyoPuyo, #SpaceChannel5, #JetSetRadio, etc.

But, instead, they've opted to do something else entirely and made cover songs from 4 very old classics. Have you heard of #Outrun? Perhaps. #AfterBurner? Maybe, but what about #PowerDrift? Or what about #Quartet? Those are probably very old games for you but they're also great games your parents might have played in the past!

With all the production values they got, that's got to be a very conscious decision made by the developers' part, don't you think?
