Highly recommend the audiobook vs. the book because it has a very big difference throughout. Super unique and brilliant.

Days after finishing #AndyWeir 's #ProjectHailMary , I'm still thinking about it. While good, there is a certain plot twist half way through the story, it felt so jarring to the flow, the theme and almost the genre just changed abruptly for me.

Now on #KateHopeDay 's #InTheQuick , feels like the same experience just happened. Maybe I'm too sensitive, but when I started liking a story because of certain theme and concept, the sudden addition of new story just feels weird for me.

Just finished reading #AndyWeir 's #ProjectHailMary . It's a good and entertaining book. Moving on to another astronaut book - "In The Quick" by Kate Hope Day, reason being that it has a cool book cover featuring a single astronaut, and that it reminds me of The Expanse covers.

Just finished reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, and just wow... I'm more of a non-fiction fan, but this story was incredibly compelling!

It's a "must read" for any sci-fi fans or people that just enjoy science 💡

Avoid reading up on it and just buy it! The less you know, the better. Trust me 👌

早前看完小說 #ProjectHailMary ，昨天看了電影 #DontLookUp ，同樣是談世界末日，兩種不同的態度。

看見內地將 #ProjectHailMary 翻譯作「冰雹瑪麗計劃」，不禁一呆。

Hail Mary 本身是天主教經文《聖母經》的名稱。拉丁原文是 Ave Maria，一首著名的聖詩就是以此拉丁語為名，香港中文譯作「聖母頌」。

Hail 現代主要解作「冰雹」，但一個古舊的用法解作「讚嘆」之類的意思。

如果中文要有一個譯法，要考慮傳情達意，應該譯作「聖母保祐計劃」或者「祈求聖母任務」之類吧？

這不是孤例，搜尋器一查，將 Hail Mary 不求甚解作「冰雹瑪麗」的這個怪譯在簡體網路文章上頗為常見，嚇了一跳。

Andy Weir's fictions aren't suitable for movie adaptation. There are simply too much details in-between. Perhaps a TV series? But it would be too nerdy.

#ProjectHailMary is great. Andy Weir has out done himself again. If you like #AndyWeir previous books (#Martian, #Atermis) or the movie Apollo Thirteen, you must not miss this new book.
