@natanielf I've been using #gnome since it was first created and I refuse to use the hard G the same way I refuse not to with GIF. 'Official' #pronunciations are ridiculous when they make communication harder with the general public. See also LaTeX and MATE (which can put an accent on the E if they want it pronounced as in Spanish).
