Wow! Two infamous errors in one project. I feel so USEFUL!

This project had 1 instance of "Dr. Spock" where "Mr. Spock" was needed, and 1 instance of "Ernest Hemmingway." (S/be "Hemingway.")

I've wanted to join the ranks of "Hemingway fixers" for years and I finally got the chance. 24 years as an and I still get a thrill out of a good catch.

Remember, people, are your last line of defense. Don't skip this valuable step before publication.

The proofreader for this book probably wasn’t familiar with Second World War aircraft and the manufacturers that produced them. The Dornier Do 17 was a light bomber used by the Luftwaffe that features heavily within the text, but is rendered as “DOMIER” as often as “DORNIER” whenever it is mentioned and I’m finding that a bit distracting, but not enough to give up on the book

I've been a bit quiet on here. The reason? Just busy. Back-to-back edits. An excellent reason, I'm sure you'll agree. And I'm loving it.

But I have to build in downtime, which is what I did today.

Finished at 2pm. Met a friend. Had a milkshake.
