I've recently come to the realization that perhaps the largest (pre-internet) and most damaging #PSYOPS operation was the post assassination #LostCause propaganda campaign here in the U.S.

I'm not keenly aware enough of overseas history to state that definitively, but because of the superpower that the USA has become label it as perhaps having the worst consequences.

I'm glad to hear about the EU doing better on the mis/disinformation front and it appears that way to me also. I won't really have a decent idea how we're doing here until after another couple of elections I fear.
