@MadKane Australia has a #PublicBroadcaster (ABC) that gets $US750 million each year from the Govt for news & general programs on Radio & TV. Imagine what PBS could do with an equivalent budget of US10 Billion instead of the $27 Million it can scrounge from donations. This curbs the excesses of private broadcasters. For private broadcasters - profitability & bias come first everything else comes last.
