Was sitting in a due diligence meeting today. Kind of stunned to hear from people who do credit scores for a living that the lendable population (> 750) has shrunk from 28 crores to 19 Crores.

The @RBI is already guilty of building privacy violating, extra-legal, super surveillance database in a non-transparent manner (and calling it #PublicCreditRegistry), now it wants credit card statements of all consumers to be uploaded to one database?
