In the #1920s the momentum for #LGBTQ+ rights crested around 1927, & the bigoted blowback ascended.

When #MaeWest 's play "The #Drag" was opened in New Jersey, with representations of LGBTQ+ people as regular Not shameful people, the play, its producers and performers, and the theaters involved were persecuted by police and authorities until the play was #canceled and West served 10 days in jail.

Okay, WTH is wrong with the author here, going off about how in *only 45 years* Disney movies will join the #PublicDomain

They were made by a guy that died before I was born, they should be public domain anyway.

It doesn't erase Disney's legacy, it opens the way for the next Disney to rise.

If you know anyone even remotely involved into planting #trees along streets in towns and cities, please show them this.

It's painful to see how many trees are basically murdered slowly by ignoring its needs.

I am sorry, but this is just crazy. Allowing works that should be in the #PublicDomain to be controlled by a country as a cultural asset is a travesty.

Public Domain means that we can all use it for whatever we want, without permission. If that cornerstone is not upheld, then we might as well stop allowing it at all.
