The public library has something for almost everyone. Ours does, anyway. I love a good value for one's property tax dollar.

Why, just this weekend I passed my Technician and General class ham radio exams, having studied the license manuals available from the library.

And now it's time to move from theory to practice.

I use #Libby for other #libraries I have ecards with and it's wonderful! But my local #PublicLibrary system uses #CloudLibrary. When the change was made from #Overdrive to #RBDigital, I was ok with it. #Overdrive confused a lot of our patrons & it was a headache trying to explain it to them. But #CloudLibrary is just wonky. It's not bad. I guess it's user-friendly, but it's not good, you know?

@edithfrost Check with your #publicLibrary . I can get access to the NYT (web site or app) via the public library, for 72 hours. And it's renewable right away and unlimited. It's awesome.

Much like parents were the worst at the #PublicLibrary, faculty are the worst in the #AcademicLibrary. They think that their status gives them the freedom to go wherever they want or do what they feel like. Like no ma'am. This reading room is the only space you can visit in #SpecialCollections. #LibraryLife

Really annoying thing going on with my library…when I check out an audiobook often the files will disappear from the library’s catalog even before I’m due to return them. I’ve had this happen right in the middle of three different books recently and had to find new books to read and the selection is very limited!!
