I created this Chi Ant Mr. Happy Bug 10 years ago. I was doing some splicing and mirror work with original paintings and this guy showed up. I knew it was quirky. I listed anyway. If it "speaks" to only one person that makes me feel pretty AWESOME!
Today the Ant spoke for the first time....LOL

Happened across this book. Looks cool, but how can it be "a #comparative study of #breath and #breathing as a core #poetic and compositional principle in modern #literature" if it doesn't discuss #qi #氣 (vital breath)?
Qi, and breathing more generally, are crucial concepts in #Chinese and #EastAsian #poetics over 2 millennia.
Books like this should be renamed "A Poetics of Breathing in 20th-century American, British, and German Literature."

Now I've found that the #BBC have put every episode of #QI on the #UK #iPlayer, I'm just binge-watching 20-year-old #TV instead of today's fare.
*Notes (series A):
1) Many panellists longer with us. RIP Linda Smith, Sean Lock, Jeremy Hardy, John Sessions... 😔
2) All-male panels now look really odd.
3) A @stephenfry anecdote is always a highlight.
3) Willingness to make a few nearer-the-knuckle comments than you might get now.

33 studies; 18 interventions .12 prompted patients to self-report on own health/needs/concerns, 6 to provide feedback about clinical practice. May improve patient #communication; some evidence of professional #behaviourchange. Interventions that encouraged self-report of health/needs/concerns appeared more successful.
