The Halifax #Mooseheads returned from the holiday break and were in St. John tonight to face the #SeaDogs.

There were weird bounces and deflections aplenty, that resulted in a few strange goals for both team. The Sea Dogs played hard, and kept the game close, despite having a much weaker roster.

In the end, #Halifax proved too strong and won the game 6-4.

The Halifax Mooseheads woke up today with revenge on their mind. After last night’s loss to the Cape Breton Eagles, they weren’t about to let that happen a second time.

The Mooseheads stars were shining today, as goal after goal filled the net, and the Eagles seemed powerless to stop the onslaught. The clock mercifully ran out, with a final score of 11-3

Wild game in the Battle of Nova Scotia tonight. The Halifax #Mooseheads opened the scoring, but the Cape Breton #Eagles scored 3 unanswered goals to take a 3-1 lead.

The Mooseheads would come back to tie it, but the Eagle again scored two quick goals to go up 5-3. Halifax would miraculously tie it 5-5, late in the game.

Back and forth 3 on 3 action in OT would produce scoring chances for both team, but Cape Breton would seal it with an OT winner.

The Charlottetown #Islanders scored first, but the Halifax #Mooseheads responded with 5 goals during the first 8 minutes of the 2nd period. Each team added another in the 3rd, for a final of 7-2.

Jordan Dumais had 1 goal, to extend his scoring streak to 5 goals in the past 3 games, since getting cut from the #WorldJuniors. Markus Vidicek had 2 goals and Mathis Rousseau made 22 saves in the victory.

It was a commanding 7-3 win for the Halifax #Mooseheads tonight, over the Charlottetown #Islanders, who were missing a few of their best players.

Jordan Dumais, who is clearly still mad about being cut from the #WorldJuniors, had another 2 goals, to match his 2 from last game. He now has 23 on the season.

It was Teddy Bear Toss night in Halifax, against the Gatineau #Olympiques. The #Mooseheads opened the scoring midway through the 1st Period, prompting the rain of stuffies onto the ice.

The Mooseheads took a 3-1 lead in the 2nd, but the Olympiques came back to tie it in the 3rd, sending the game to OT.

Thanks to some clutch saves by Mathis Rousseau, Halifax would take the win in the shootout. Final score 4-3.

It’s Teddy Bear Toss night in Moose Country. The Gatineau #Olympiques are in town to face the Halifax #Mooseheads, and everyone is encouraged to bring a stuffed animal for donation to charity.

Teddy Bear Tosses have become a heart warming tradition across the Hockey World, and are traditionally tossed onto the ice after the first home goal.

It took 65 minutes of play and a 10 Round shootout for the Halifax #Mooseheads to finally defeat the Blainville-Boisbriand #Armada by a score of 5-4.

Zach L’Heureux had 2 goals for the Moose in a back and forth game, in which the Amarda were heavily outshot, but were able to stay in the game, thanks to an impressive performance by their goalie Nicholas Sheehan.

The Halifax #Mooseheads were back in action this afternoon against the Baie Comeau #Drakkar, less than 24 hours after their game last night. You might expect them to be sluggish with that turn around, but that was not the case.

Thanks to a stellar performance from goaltender Mathias Rousseau, the Mooseheads were able to hold onto the shootout, despite being outshot 33-28, and went on to win 4-0.

What the hell happened in Chicoutimi last night? The #Saguenéens appeared to have everything over control and were rolling over the #Mooseheads, with the score of 3-0 at the end of the 2nd Period.

Cue the comeback. Like they always say, you have to play the full 60 minutes. Halifax stormed back in the 3rd Period to tie the game at 3-3 and then kept pushing for a hard fought 4-3 victory in overtime.

The Halifax #Mooseheads are on a road trip through Quebec this week. First stop was Rimouski to face the Oceanic.

Halifax went up 3-1, before Rimouski tied it 3-3 late in the 2nd period. Mooseheads scored a shorthanded goal on a breakaway early in the 3rd period, and then added another to make the final 5-3.

New addition Josh Lawrence played his first game for the Mooseheads and had 3 assists.
