How does "modifier keys on home row" work? Did you disable "long pressing a key inserts that key with rate x characters/second" so that every long-press is *not* recognized as inserting that character even when not used with another key?

Although I do have multiple modifier keys, I thought about switching to easy to reach modifiers for more than just one custom layer. This could, e.g., replace my hard to reach F-keys row.

Yesterday evening, I could fix my #keyboard again: it was a broken solder joint for a thumb key cluster row of my Stapelberg #QMK mod board. #Kinesis #Advantage2 😌

I haven't used vim's hjkl cursor movements so far. I only started a few days ago via my #QMK config.
One thing that nags me: why on earth is hjkl and not jkl;?

I know about the printed arrows on the ancient keyboard. Still: it's not compatible with standard keyboard finger position. 😒 ⌨️
