Since I have some #friends in #instances that block #qoto, have decided to create a secondary #account in one which has an higher #reputation on the #fediverse.

We should recognize that there's a difference between an instance that's *slightly* more light-handed in moderation than you would be, and a complete free-speech free-for-all. In my opinion, #fediblock should be reserved for those extreme cases where an instance owner *clearly* has no interest in being a good neighbor. And an instance should *never* be defederated simply because they themselves refuse to defederate (e.g. #qoto). That's flat-out cartelism and violates the spirit of federation.
