The sheer hell of taking my 75 year old mother to lunch and the waitress telling her to scan a QSR code with her phone to see the menu...The waitress could have been talking to her in ancient Klingon.

Then there is me with my eyes rolled so far back in my head as I have to explain "scan" and "QSR" and "link" to her instead of just enjoying some orange chicken.

Then the waitress handed her a paper straw. I had to the painfully argue climate change with her. I'm an alcoholic now. #QSR #MOM

Here in #Vancouver #BritishColumbia #Canada the #McDonalds #QSR in the 1400 block of West Broadway has quietly raised all its food prices by $0.10. Used to be that McD's staff had to spend an hour or two manually changing menu board prices with transfer lettering. Digital menu boards now make the process trivial. I assume the 10-cent price increase also applies to all of this francisee/owner's stores, which include another four on #VanBC's West Side and one downtown.
