#Qala Has anybody else noticed how weak dialogue writing is seen since few years in B'wood. A movie set in 1930s-1950s has dialogues with heavy usage of English. Something doesn't fit here. Was it quite common for the artists and people of the elite circles to use English even for some of the basic words? They should have simply seen the interviews of some artists in that era and the language used by them.
Farsh pe khade is an amazing song with full Hemant Kumar vibes. Between #monicaomydarling and #Qala #hindi film music has made me happy after so long.

Mothers can be abusers, how many of you understood that undertone from #qala?

Question for #Bollywood film buffs about the #Netflix movie #Qala that just got released on Dec 1... is the title of the movie the word कला , meaning "art" in the Hindi language? I have plans to see the movie and just curious about the title and its meaning... thanks I advance! It's difficult to translate Hindi into English because there *is* no rulebook, except phonetics... so the choice of "Q" instead of "K" for the title word has more to do with the symbolism... fascinating really
Saw #Qala yesterday. Stunning visuals, beautiful acting and lovely film in general. But incredibly morose. There was hardly a moment to breathe and relax.
Everyone watch #Qala on Netflix India and tell me what will you do if you knew your baby killed it's twin in the womb by depriving it of nutrition because it was relatively stronger.
