For the first time in my life I attended a Quaker funeral yesterday.

In a huge Meeting House that was packed there was a wonderful & respectful ease.

Not only for the deceased & for her family but also for other mourners.

No one tried to be prominent by amplifying a styled accolade for the deceased, it was humble & also very honest.
And timely gaps were left between those who stood to speak.

I didn't know the deceased myself but am very pleased that I went.
