@malcolm Everything you can do in any you can do in a on , unless it needs direct GPU support (ie. )

It's not a , it's an actual fully functioning distro running on a which utilizes hardware better.

@netrom is one of the available default templates in .

I no longer need to run that on given this but have in the past as well.

I don't use non / 's so i'm not someone able to speak on or or anything else as a .

Given my focus is as a passion vs actual need (Not a nation state target, am not a ) i mostly stick to the , and Whonix templates myself.

@netrom Correct, use case and how many the user utilizes at once is going to be the first part of RAM consideration.

The second thing to consider is, what actual will the Qubes user be running in a .

Will it be a light or heavier distro? Will it be ? Will it be as a in a ? Will it be something entirely different?

@DorpMarfin12 I use . users with their insecure bore me with their boasting.

There's nothing wrong with Arch, and i don't have anything against any other linux distro either. It's about what the user needs, wants and what works well on their hardware. Saying one is the best or superior is useless when all linux distros are insecure in some ways is my point.

@jacobwm @northox Though not designed for workloads, is spectacular for isolating workloads - though it is a of an OS to learn.

For example, you can retrieve potentially documents in a , strip it of and then move it to a trusted Qube.

I wish they'd build it on an LTS distro, vice - but it is one of the most secure nonimmutable OS platforms.
