Of course we met up with other #bikers at the event. The #MakeItSaferMakati ended around 10AM and 4 of us decided to ride 11km for some #coffee. ☕😅

Somebody had #bike trouble and, because we don't leave anyone behind, the rest of us stopped at a convenience store.

Then we visited Pugad Lawin High School in #QuezonCity, and biked all the way to the Monumento rotunda in #CaloocanCity which had been cleared for the day's celebrations. We were allowed to sneak thru because we walked our #bikes and it was still very early.

I forgot to record my most important cardio activity of the morning -- the 21km ride starting from and ending at city hall. 🤦‍♀️ I only have the report of my before and after -- going to and leaving from city hall. 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, the 21km took me about 1 hour 20 minutes. Some parts were a little too difficult for me. 😬 And I thank God for my wonderful #bike with #PedalAssist. 😊🙏

Oh, and the city rewarded us with a nice breakfast. 😃👍

At city hall now waiting for the #bike event to start. It's the city's 83rd founding anniversary.

They got a large banner for the event and #bikers were taking turns taking #photos of each other. A kind stranger came and offered to take my photo there, with my phone. Aaaww... How nice. 🙂

Then I moved away and a few minutes later an older gent approached me with his phone. I thought he wanted me to take his picture. Nope. He wanted a picture with me. 😳

#Bicycle accident happened Sunday, July 3, around 11AM.

Caucasian family of 3 riding in #Marikina to #QuezonCity #MetroManila #Philippines #HitAndRun The young son caused a lady biker to crash -- she was sent flying off her bike and hit her head, was unconscious, and the reckless monsters just abandoned her! 😡

They didn't have the heart or decency to stay to check that she'd be fine and pay to cover her medical bills and bicycle repairs!

I posted before re: #Starbucks serving dine-in #food in non disposables -- i.e. glasses & mugs instead of plastics & paper cups. And they'd provide a long spoon with your frappuccino because they won't provide straws. I was told it's a #QuezonCity ordinance and they'd get fined or something if they got caught with diners using disposables in-store.

Now I'm at a store I've never visited before and as you can see in the #photo... disappointing. It's also in Quezon City. 🙄
