@sj_zero @curtis It's a trend called #QuietLuxury. I started looking into it when noticing the fashion on the main characters on #Succession, who are some of the richest people in the in-world universe. Their fashion looks, at times, incredibly basic, but they still look pretty rich.

I never thought about it until I dug into this, but it turns out if you're wearing flashy, hypebeast/streetwear type clothes, you come off more like a tryhard than anything else.

In short, the rich wear incredibly simple clothes; whether that's #SteveJobs in his turtleneck and jeans, #Ye in his pastel colors, or jeans and boots, or #JeffBezos in his incredibly simple (yet effective) formal wear.
#FashionWeek is the only time when rich people wear truly zany clothing, I'm gathering. Well, that as well as #NBA players when they're walking through the tunnel lol.
P.S. the upside of wearing these "Quiet Luxury" items is that you can get incredibly high quality/comfortable attire that you might not be able to get in zanier clothing. For example, the suit one of the main character in #Succession was wearing was made out of wool and cost nearly $2,000!
