Da meine Umfrage zu RDNA3 gerade zuende gegangen ist, hier mal meine Meinung zu AMDs RDNA3:

Ich sehe die GPU Generation zwischen Top und Flop.
Technisch ist sie interessant und hat sowohl im Bereich Rasterization als auch Raytracing durchaus zugelegt.

Aber als wirklich Top sehe ich sie nicht, weil sie leider nicht ganz an Nvidia's RTX 4000 rankommt.
Ich hatte wirklich gehofft, dass AMD im Bereich Raytracing gleichzieht und auch der RTX 4090 Konkurrenz machen kann.

#ROCm 5.5.1 Released For #AMD's #OpenSource Compute Stack
The officially supported GPUs currently with ROCm are the Instinct MI50, Instinct MI60, Radeon VII, Radeon Pro VII, Radeon Pro W6800, Radeon Pro V620, Instinct MI100, and Instinct MI300. While there has been #RDNA3 movement with ROCM, so far the recently announced Radeon Pro W7800/W7900 series are yet to be officially listed.

With the reveal of the #AMD #Radeon #RX7600 & nV's #4060Ti I'm pretty sure this gen will go down as one of the worst.. Not because of the architectures, they are pretty solid, I'm a little let down by #RDNA3, it still does it's job and nVidia's #ada is a very good step compared to #ampere. No what makes it seem terrible is the pricing, and the push to serve the market with lower and lower end SKU's and tell you it's amazing.. My 6700 XT is going to die of old age before I upgrade at this rate!

Got my new #AMD #RDNA3 GPU (RX 7900) working on NixOS. Was a bit of a struggle to get the right drivers and such, but now it runs quite well, and with a fully open-source stack. Man is this thing fast.

AMD Ryzen 7000 Mobile chips offer up to 16 Zen 4 CPU cores, RDNA 3 graphics.

The naming is a bit of a mess though, with some new chips sporting the latest CPU and/or graphics architecture, but many using older tech in new chips that are hard to decipher from the name alone. And even if you learn the new naming scheme, you have to consult a spec sheet to figure out what integrated GPU is used.
