Very pleased to see this from #RHS today. Predictions and support for more sustainable gardening for wildlife + changing climate. V late to the “ban peat” party but welcome nevertheless as t Royal Horticultural Society has HUGE influence. More emphasis on pollinating plants would be good too 🐝🐝🐝

#ivy is very easy to grow. It will grow in sun or (usefully) in shade.
Plant, water sometimes at first. Then all you have to do is cut back any shoots that are growing where you don’t want them to. It will grow quickly (good if you don’t let it go out of control). Pruning is a once-a-year job, and easy if you don’t let the plant grow high enough to become hard to access.
