@camstonefaux my understanding is that the combination of autonomous Ocean #Gliders, profiling #ARGO floats, and new advanced ships that can deploy #ROV and other instruments is the focus. Scripps also has a brand new hydrogen powered hybrid #oceanography vessel being built to replace the RV Robert Gordon Sproul.

#introduction Hei hei, I’m Filipa, a geologist that studies deep sea seafloor hydrothermal systems and all sorts of on-land magmatic-hydrothermal ore deposits. Love being at sea, particularly if my EMEPC ROV people is around. Previously in academia, now intermittently publishing stuff (A. F. A. Marques) or working with the other side, industry.
