I have just started “The Country of the Blind" by @andrewleland (just out). I’m maybe 10% through it, and can't recommend it highly enough—if the rest is half as good, it’ll be an outstanding book.

The author seems to be a decade or two behind me in the progression of his #RP. His story (so far) of gradual loss of sight sounds so similar to mine it's uncanny, and infinitely better written than I could manage. Go read it.
