26) Favourite CHARACTER SHEET

As a GM most of the time, I mostly have requirements.

+ all needed character information ideally on one page
+ the important information should be available at a glance
+ personally, I prefer self-developed character sheets, often created with more love than commercial ones
+ I also like "folio sheets" of the #RQG / #Runequest and #WFRP 4 #startersets

@zeitiger @Moonmoth @taarion @Silentpat Ich bin ja seit Längerem am überlegen, ob ich mir das deutsche Material zulegen soll. Denn Glorantha ist schon ne coole Fantasywelt. Aber andererseits werde ich wohl nicht die Zeit finden, #RQG regelmäßig zu spielen... 😱🤔

@taarion @Silentpat Ich kenne nur die englische Edition, da ist das Layout awesome. Bestimmt wird das bei deutschen Edition ebenfalls so sein. Bin aber gespannt, wie es hierzulande mit #RuneQuestGlorantha weitergeht. #RQG

At yesterday’s meeting the directors of the Register of Qualified Genealogists announced that following recent nominations Helen Tovey and I would be student representatives for the coming year, starting now.

This is an exciting time for #RQG as there has been quite an increase in student numbers over the past few years: of the 269 RQG members, 106 are student members.

As a student myself (enrolled in the #Strathclyde program) I am pleased and excited with this new position! #genealogy

@mofte @Moonmoth Als Ideensteinbruch finde ich #RQG oder besser #Glorantha nahezu unschlagbar, wobei ich eher/auch babylonisch-mykenische Einflüsse wahrnehme. #RQ ersetzt m. E. den Kill N Loot-Zyklus von z. B. #DnD durch culture clash & hero questing. Im #fantasy #ttrpg Umfeld findest "Du" quasi überall die #Glorantha DNA, sie haben sich (fast) "alle" da bedient. Glorantha, die Welt, ist älter als #RQ und vermutlich #DnD. Enjoy.

@Moonmoth Ich "mag gefährliche" Systeme, kann weder viel mit altem 1HP #DND / #OSR noch mit den neuen Rollenbrett-Taktikvarianten anfangen. Ok, spiele#DND 4e, fühlt sich wie #Gloomhaven mit mehr Erzählung an.

Von einem Rollenspiel erwarte ich mehr/anderes. Habe auch den Eindruck, dass #RQG geradezu #OSR-like deadly sein kann. Ohne die Heilmagie wäre RQ m. E. ein sehr friedliches Spiel, weil es idR. so deadly ist, wenn es zum Kampf kommt.

Chaoasium wird leider kein #BRP #Fantasy machen.

I agree with him, „good“ #ttrpg adventures are about „high (emotional) stakes“, I call it choice & consequences for what the player characters care about - not about looting e. g. another +5 Holy Avenger etc.

Nowadays, classic #dungeoncrawls are an instant turnoff - for me. They bore me, I avoid them.
