これは『 #RRR 』がアカデミー賞取る前からの話なんだけど、本作が日本でBL的に消費されていく中で、なんというか“ひっそり”と楽しもうという空気があって、作品には齟齬や欠点もあるけれど、それは別に珍しくはないもので、けれど“萌える”という要素を楽しんでた人が結構いたのね。
今の“推し文化”の中では、その“ひっそり”が経済的にも大きな力を持っていて、国内興収10億円というところまでいった。

問題は、『RRR』が話題になって入ってきた男性評論家（気取りも含む）たちが「なんでこれは批判されず好まれているのか」という態度を取りはじめたこと。これは2月からずっと思ってたことなんだけど。
批判すべき点があるならば、自分の言葉で批判すればいいのに、「なんで日本の女性たちはこれを甘受しているのか」という態度で批判を始めたんだよね。ひっそりとBL的な要素を楽しんでいたところに、数字が追いついてきて興味を持ったおじさんたちが入ってきたんだよ、ということは言いたい。なぜBLを“ひっそり”楽しむのか、という話は長大になるし、だからアンサーが出てこないんだけど。

他国の文化を消費することに問題がないとは言わないけど、まずは自分がどう受け止めたか、感じたかで批評してほしい。
